First wave of acts announced for the third edition of Outer Town Festival

Returning to Old Market once again in 2024, this multi-venue music extravaganza is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever with massive acts and a brand-new central hub.

 

Outer Town Festival will run across 8 Old Market venues throughout the day on Saturday 13 April 2024.

 

In this monumental first announcement, festival organisers have announced a whole host of top indie acts including headliner Snapped Ankles, fellow heavy hitters Deadletter, Opus Kink alongside and many more! This is also the first year with Trinity Centre as the festival’s central hub, acting as the main stage, wristband exchange and a DIY market.

After two successful editions, Outer Town are redeveloping the event, moving to a Saturday to allow for a longer day of music, adding food stalls, a DIY independent market and featuring a 500-capacity outdoor stage, dubbed The Den, outside Trinity Centre.

 

Returning venues include Old Market Assembly, Exchange (both the main room and basement), Glitch, The Ill Repute, To The Moon and Elmers Arms, in addition to the now legendary afterparty at Moor Brewery – this time featuring a DJ set from tokky horror.

 

The artists so for announced for 2024 include headliners and eccentric forest themed synth punks Snapped Ankles, South London six-piece Deadletter, jazz rockers act Opus Kink, DIY queer punk band The Menstrual Cramps, art-pop quartet Cowboyy and local groove-laden buzz duo Getdown Services.

 

Experimental trio Alien Chicks, London four-piece Automotion and hardcore outfit Death Goals will also be lending their sonic charm alongside local favourites such as Knives, art rockers Sunglasz Vendor, coloured in goths BLED, alt-folk prikect Eve Appleton Band, genre hopper Hector Who Lived and many, many more exciting acts.
