On Saturday 3 September, beginning at 10:00, a selection of Bristol designers and makers will display their products, with AWT’s outdoor café and veg stalls also open to the public.

This  upcoming event is FREE. More information about AWT's Grow Wilder site can be found here.

Founded in 1981, Avon Wildlife Trust is the largest charity working to protect wildlife in the West of England, caring for 30 reserves across the old county of Avon from ancient bluebell woods to Iron Age forts, nationally important wetlands which are a haven for rare wading birds, and wildflower meadows.

Avon's branch is just one of a network of 46 wildlife trusts across the country protecting nature and providing educational and community programmes to help people of all ages connect with and benefit from the natural world around them.

Among its many projects, AWT runs ‘Grow Wilder’ - aiming ‘to bring about urgent action for the restoration of wildlife’ by ‘educating and empowering people, communities and businesses to make positive changes through wildlife-friendly gardening and sustainable food growing’.

Since opening in 2012, the site has become a crucial inner-city haven for nature, supporting wildlife and inspiring local people.

This weekend, Saturday 3 September, AWT will host their monthly market of handmade, eco-friendly handicrafts in a showcase of local talent.

Alongside the market, the Grow Wilder site’s café serving tea, coffee and cake will be open, with veg stall and native wildflowers also on display.

This event is FREE and will take place at AWT’s Grow Wilder site. You can find more details about this project here.
