Wildwood Kin At The Fleece - September 28th

2020 was a tough year for Wildwood Kin. Like many acts their touring plans were cancelled due to the pandemic. What was shaping up to be a great summer of festivals and shows became an empty schedule.

Putting that behind them the band are now happy to announce the ‘Move On Out’ tour starting on Aug 31stat London’s Omeara and taking in Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Southampton, Brighton, Bristol, Scunthorpe, Swindon and a homecoming show atPhoenix in Exeter.

“We can’t wait to get back out on the road and play some shows and see our fans again” says Beth. “It’s been a tough time for everybody, but we are so ready to make music again!”

In addition to their headline shows the girls will also be playing a handful of festivals this year including Black Deer Festival in June, Between The Trees in August and the British Country Music Festival in Blackpool & Westview Live both in September, with more to be announced.

If you need a live fix of Wildwood Kin before these dates then you can see the girls on stage with Birdy as part of her livestream show from Wilton Music Hall in April.

“Birdy asked us if we would sing backing vocals for her on her show” explains Emillie. “It’s not something that we have done before but it was a fantastic experience, and we enjoyed every minute of it”

The girls are no strangers to livestream shows having staged their own Homegrown Sessions show in October of last year.

Filmed at the beautiful Higher Eggbeer Farm in Devon the show was a real success with fans.

May 28th will see the release of The Homegrown Sessions Live EP. A selection of five songs from the show with the bands version of The Stereophonics ‘Dakota’ being the first instant grat release on May 7th.

Meg from the band explains “We’ve had so many requests for the songs from the show to be released so we thought an EP would be the best option. As well as being available digitally we are releasing a special signed CD as well”.

Tickets available from: £16.80
