Great community event at one of Bristol's best-loved venues
The Eldon House is the local pub in the heart of the city. On Saturday 30th April 2016 they will be hosting the Lower Clifton Hill Street Party and we’re all invited! American style BBQ, drinks, games, activities and plenty of live music…what more could you ask for?
On a regular day, The Eldon House serves between four and five great real ales, keeping them fresh and of a consistent nature. The emphasis is mainly local with Bath Ales and Bristol Beer Factory a constant and the rest of the pumps being filled with changing guests both local and not so local. A changing craft beer, three lagers, draught cider and stout are complemented with fine wines and a range of spirits.
Kicking off at 12 noon and running long into the night, this great community event will see American inspired BBQ food served up alongside their now famous range of ales, with a great selection of other tipples available if you’d prefer. Live music begins outside with sets from Iron & Oak, Kit Hawes & Aaron Catlow, Husky Tones and The First Raitt Band. Nobody loves Bristol more than us here at 365 Towers but even we have to admit that with the setting of the sun it’s probably best to head inside - it’s still only April after all. The Eldon read our minds and so the party moves indoors, signalling the arrival of The Ambling Band, followed by The Smokey River Band and rounding off the day’s music with finish with a bang in the form of Aviator Brass!

It’s certainly one of the best spots in Bristol to get a good pint. As we all know though, we are blessed in Bristol to have some excellent pubs serving top-notch drinks. What sets the Eldon apart is the quality of the food. Colin the Chef serves up a great range of pub classics ranging from a wide range of burgers, fish and chips through to specials like a rib eye steak or lamb koftas. To get the combo of truly great drinks alongside superb food makes a trip to The Eldon a must, rather than a consideration. You won’t be disappointed!
