Open Mic Sundays

The Candle Club at The Golden Guinea is Bristol's longest running Open Mic night. This week the date is Sunday 6th March 2016

Organised by Marc Venus, it is an evening comprising of both booked acts as well as open mic performers in Bristol. It's always a terrific atmosphere and a great way to round off any weekend, plus the music, comedy and poetry are always good as is the DJ'ing between acts.

To book a half hour slot contact Mark Venus Music via his Facebook page or you can of course just show up and play. There is even a house guitar you can use and all abilities are made welcome.

The only rule: Strictly no Wonderwall or Angels.

Some of the people who have sung, spoke and made us laugh at The Candle Club at Bristol's Golden Guinea include:

Sadie Fleming, Pete Taylor, Lindsay Bullamore, Mr Chips, Alfie Kingston, Chris Webb, Sam Scott, Howard Sinclair, The Lonely Tourist, Alex Furr, Alan Maskell, Vapor, Kayla, Kye Summers, Chirstian Liberati, Suzie Latham, Thom Ahearne,Tim Rice, John, John in the Corner, Lydia, Ben, Phil Sinnett, Luke Brookes, Stripey Comedian and many, many more!
