Russell Howard to bring Respite stand-up tour to Bristol in June 2021
Bristol-born funny man Russell Howard will be coming home in June 2021 for a six-date run of stand-up shows at Ashton Gate Stadium - rescheduled from Bristol Hippodrom and July 2020 due to Covid-19. Tickets for his biggest stand-up tour have almost sold out but there are a few still available for the Saturday afternoon matinee show.
Following the record-breaking success of his 2017 Round The World tour, Russell Howard is back with his biggest stand-up tour to date. Trying to make sense of a world spinning wildly out of control, he's ready to take his one-man show around the globe once more to split sides in a way only he can.
A constant face on popular comedy panel shows like Mock The Week, 8 out of 10 Cats and Would I Lie To You in the early years of his career, Howard's stock has been on the rise for the better part of the last ten years, landing his own BBC show Russell Howard's Good News before going on to host The Russell Howard Hour and his own globally-successful Netflix special, Recalibrate.
Having grown up in Bristol and studied at the University of the West of England, Howard will now be returning home for a run of shows at the famous Bristol Hippodrome from 5th through 10th July 2021 with shows each evening and an additional matinee performance on Saturday 5th July. Described as "darker, angrier and more satirical" than ever by The Sunday Times, Bristol stand-up fans simply cannot afford to miss this.
