Paul Chowdhry is a British comedian and actor. Active from 1998, he is well known as host of the Channel 4 comedy series Stand Up for the Week. He has twice headlined Live at the Apollo, and has appeared on Taskmaster, 8 Out of 10 Cats and the Comedy World Cup. He was the first British act to perform at the Caribbean Comedy Festival in Trinidad in 2003.
Chowdhry has also appeared in feature films including ‘Swinging With The Finkels’ alongside Martin Freeman and Jerry Stiller, ‘Colour Me Kubrick’ with John Malkovich, ‘Rogue Trader’ with Ewan McGregor and Anna Friel and ‘It Was An Accident’ alongside Thandie Newton and Chiwetel Ejiofor, CBE.
