GB MEDALLISTS INVITE BRISTOL TO CREATE A FUN SOCIAL IMPACT

 

The inaugural Meet the Medallists Bristol will give Bristolians the opportunity to listen to, chat with, pose for selfies and photos with GB Medallists in the 'Medallist Maz'e before moving on to the 'Activity Zone' where you can take part in sporting and non-sporting Beat the Medallist challenges trying to beat the time or targets set earlier by the GB Medallists.

 

Medallists from Swimming, Rowing, Taekwondo, Diving and Kayaking have signed up for the event with the full line up to be announced on Friday 27 Septmeber.  Double Olympic Medallist diver Noah Williams will be in attendance and is “Really looking forward to a fun afternoon in Bristol and hearing people’s Paris memories.”

 

The event is part of the Athlete purpose project, the Bristol based, Legacy 300 One Sporting World, and is designed to help the GB Athletes support local charities, adding to the £640K already raised through hosting Athlete Experience days. The day aims to create a fund for good causes to draw down places on these days to raise funds from their supporters.
