Welsh National Opera present Macbeth at The Bristol Hippodrome on 12th October

Welsh National Opera return to The Bristol Hippodrome from 11-15 October 2016 with performances of The Merchant of Venice (11th Oct), Macbeth (12th Oct) and Kiss Me Kate (13-15 Oct).

Macbeth - Wednesday 12 October 2016

Macbeth has blood on his hands, but although he is now king, the crown rests uneasily on his head.

Verdi described Macbeth as ‘one of mankind’s greatest creations’.  Fittingly, his thrillingly intense adaptation of this famous play is brooding and ferocious. As ever, we expect the WNO Chorus (there are a number of breath-taking choruses) and Orchestra to throw themselves into Macbeth and create a highly-charged evening.

Performances start at 7.15pm with running time iapproximately two hours 55 minutes including one interval. Sung in Italian with surtitles in English. Co-production with Northern Ireland Opera and supported by WNO Partners.

Tickets range from £16.90 to £51.40 including booking fee and are available to purchase online here.
