German hard rock overlords heading to Bristol
German hard rock overlords Lord of the Lost will be live at The Prospect Building in Bristol on Friday 7 November 2025 and tickets for the shows go on general sale this Friday morning from 10am through Ticketweb.
Over the past 15 years, LORD OF THE LOST is a name that has embedded itself into the top tier of dark and heavy music. Juggling elements of metal, industrial, glam, rock and pop, the genre-fluid group continues to invent itself over and over again, both musically and visually, to rising national and international success.
To date, the band have released albums including ‘EMPYREAN’ (2016) and ‘THORNSTAR’ (2018), both of which entered the Top 10 of the German Album Charts at #9 and #6 respectively, whilst their staggering successful double album ‘JUDAS’ (2021) reached #2.
However, it was 2023 that would prove to be a watershed moment for the band. The arrival of their album ‘BLOOD & GLITTER’ would cement their status as hard rock heavyweights when it leaped straight to #1 and remained in the album charts for seven weeks in total. Later that year, the group would prove underdog winners of Germany’s Eurovision preliminary stage, charging them onto an heroic performance at the LIVERPOOL EUROVISION SONG CONTEST in May of that year with their anthemic “Blood & Glitter” track. And to cap it off, the year would also see Lord of the Lost tour with hard rock legends IRON MAIDEN, their second summer tour with Bruce Dickinson and co. in a row.
Last year, Lord of the Lost released the sensational covers album ‘WEAPONS OF MASS SEDUCTION’, a record that again stormed the charts and earned them a #2 chart position in Germany; success that was sealed with a major European tour titled "15 Years of LORD OF THE LOST", their first ever tours of the USA and Canada, as well as the grand year-end finale at LORDFEST in Hamburg.
Looking ahead to a bright 2025, the wheels are already in motion for a new album to come this year… watch this space for developments.
