The winner of every major play award including five Oliviers is coming to town
Bristol Hippodrome is excited to announce that Lolita Chakrabarti’s dazzling Olivier Award-winning stage production of Yann Martel’s best-seller Life of Pi is coming to The Bristol Hippodrome in 2024!
The production won five Olivier Awards in April 2022. As well as winning Best New Play and Best Actor for Hiran Abeysekera (Pi), the seven performers who puppeteer the Tiger ‘Richard Parker’ were collectively awarded Best Actor in a Supporting Role in an astonishing Olivier Awards first. The production also picked up awards for the set (Tim Hatley, Nick Barnes and Finn Caldwell), and lighting design (Tim Lutkin and Andrzej Goulding).
