Everyone wants to walk among dinosaurs – and now you can.

This October, Bristol’s Ashton Court will be taken over by 50-plus animatronic dinosaurs, as Jurassic Encounter continues its sell-out tour with a trip to the West Country.

Everyone wants to walk among dinosaurs – and now you can.

The family-friendly dinosaur experience brings life-sized models of Tyrannosaurus Rex (18 metres high!), Stegosaurus, Diplodocus and many other crowd favourites – but they’re more than just models.

Thanks to tiny, hidden sensors, the dinosaurs will be able to detect the presence of visitors – allowing them to roar, move and interact with the visitors – for a truly interactive dino experience.

This is a great family day out – what self-respecting kid (or adult, for that matter) doesn’t love dinosaurs? On top of that, the team behind Jurassic Encounter’s dedication to realism makes this a great educational day out too – each dinosaur is accompanied by an information panel bearing factors and figures about these creatures of the past.

In addition to the trail of animatronic reptiles, Jurassic Encounter also offers an education film tent, VR experiences and even a dive pit, where budding young archaeologists can scour the sand for the bones of a T-rex.

It’s a great all-round day out, too; street food vendors will be on hand, with promises of traditional Spanish churros, steak sandwiches, burgers, crepes & waffles, noodles and other pop-up food offers. The experience is running from Saturday 15 till Sunday 30 October (not including Monday 17 and Tuesday 18).

Tickets are £12.50, or £10.50 for children and relevant concessions. If you book in a group of ten or more, you can get your tickets for £9.50 each – or families can book a special family ticket for £42.00.

Additionally, we can tell you that early purchasers can use the code EARLYBIRD20 online for 20% off – so get in there quickly.
