Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Bristol Hippodrome
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Bristol Hippodrome from 2nd to 6th May 2017.
Donning the coveted coat we have Joe McElderry who you might remember from his days winning the X-Factor. An awesome production of a family musical (by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber), Bill Kenwright’s work has been termed as “Superb”, “Amazing”, “Brilliant” and “Wonderful” and has won accolades throughout the country as each of the performances continue to earn standing ovations.
A story from the Bible, of Joseph, his 11 brothers and the coat of many colours, the musical spreads magic through its wonderful songs like Close Every Door To Me, Those Canaan Days and Any Dream Will Do.
At just 18, a young Joey won the 6th series of The X Factor (2009) and instantly became a sensation as he topped the UK Singles Charts with his first song The Climb. In the following years, Joey had 3 top ten albums to his name and won 2 more reality TV shows. He also won Channel 4’s The Jump and ITV’s Pop Star to Opera Star.
