One of the most enduring grunge groups grace Bristol with their presence.

This gig has been rescheduled from Thursday 15 September 2020 to Tuesday 14 September 2021.

Formed in Seattle, Washington, in a particularly fertile period that saw the city rise to become - albeit briefly - the centre of the Rock 'n' Roll universe, Mudhoney have spent over 30 years building an impressive back catalogue.

Despite never achieving the level of recognition enjoyed by Nirvana and Soundgarden, Mudhoney, indie label Sub Pop's first real success, paved the way for the grunge movement to take off as it did.

Although rarely cited as pioneers, as many trailblazers often are, the four-piece's importance in bringing grunge to the fore cannot be understated.

Rising from the ashes of seminal group Green River in 1988, Mudhoney's big, loud, and menacing sonic identity has helped them stand the test of time.
