The Magnetic Diaries by Sarah James at Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol on Sunday 2 October 2016.
These diaries are the narrative springs based on Sarah James poetry collection where the entire sets and atmosphere depicts train carriages, sterile clinic, kitchen and art gallery which was highly commended in the Forward Prizes 2015. These poems are based the modern day Madam Bovary i.e. Emma Bailey. She left her family behind to go on the journey of pioneering brain therapy while battling with a middle class lifestyle and depression and hence she started recording her journey through raw and wonderful poetry.
This companys works are a brilliant combination of realistic emotion and architectural designs. They also have the talent of taking us back and forth in time with their descriptive narrations.
Malvernbased Reaction Theatre Makers have been creating these shows since 2011 and are best known for their latest piece “FishHead” in West Midlands which got a 5 star review. These makers are best inspired by a link between creativity and health. The reaction Makers are also famous for their Collaborations with poets, developers and artists outside the company as well as it would add value and creativity to their performances.
