Jazz nights every Friday in Bristol
The Bear Inn Hotwells, Bristol hosts a weekly Jazz night every Friday with the Be-Bop Jazz Club. Different artists play each week and on Friday 16th September 2016 you'll be entertained by Henrik Jensen’s Followed By Thirteen.
Henrik Jensen, the renowned bassist from Denmark, is all set to come to Bristol on Friday 16th September 2016 along with his quartet Followed By Thirteen. Presenting our first touring band of autumn, the band is supporting Blackwater which is their second CD release. Andre Canniere, the trumpeter from America, a rising talent on the European jazz scenario has played several hit shows along with hit stars such as Bjorkestra and Maria Schneider. We also have Danish pianist Esben Tjalve who plays compliments Henrik Jensen’s work with wonderful taste, furthermore fantastic drummer from Italy, Antonio Fusco increases the beauty of the music with his talent. Having earned huge worldwide acclaim, Henrik has gained work from the likes of Blue Note in Tokyo, concert halls in Moscow as well as staying constantly active on the London jazz scene.
