Harrison Storm is an Australian singer/songwriter known for his soulful vocals, introspective lyrics, and tasteful, finger-picked guitar playing. Storm issued a string of acclaimed EPs, including Change It All (2017), Falling Down (2019), Be Slow (2020), and Under Dusk (2022), before unveiling his first full-length effort, On Wonder, Won’t You?, in 2024.
A native of Mornington, Victoria and raised in a musical household, Storm spent his formative years soaking in the seaside splendor of his hometown and immersing himself in the sounds of the Beatles and Neil Young. As his own musical ambitions grew, so did his influences, with artists like City and Colour, Jeff Buckley, Angus & Julia Stone, and author Jack London entering the picture. After dropping out of college to focus on music, Storm began busking in the streets of Melbourne, eventually earning enough to finance his debut EP, 2015’s Sense of Home. The title track quickly earned a place on streaming playlists, prompting Nettwerk C.E.O. and co-founder Terry McBride to contact Storm via his Facebook page. A deal was made and the label re-released Sense of Home, resulting in an expanded fan base that saw Storm’s profile rise both at home and abroad. In 2017, he released his first official single for the label, “Change It All,” which appeared on the EP of the same name. Falling Down, which featured “Run” and “Feeling You,” arrived two years later, with Be Slow appearing in 2020. Under Dusk, a 2022 collaboration with fellow Melbourne singer/songwriter Enna Blake, yielded the hit title cut, which saw heavy rotation on Australia’s Triple J and the U.K.’s BBC Radio 2. A series of intimate singles, including “Warm a Cold Heart,” arrived in 2023, heralding the arrival of his first long-player, On Wonder, Won’t You?, which arrived in 2024.
