World's biggest half marathon The AJ Bell Great North Run this May!
Here at Great Run HQ we love the month of January... There's the promise of a PB, the temptation of a new (or old) challenge, the thought of a shiny new medal, or the opportunity to raise money for a great cause.
Looking ahead to Sunday 14 May this year - what are you doing that weekend? Because we think you've got a date with us at this year's AJ Bell Great Bristol Run.
We'll be hitting the city's streets on Sunday 14 May where we'll celebrate Bristol, its people and the fantastic running communities in and around the city.
No matter your level or ability, your goal or reason, every participant will cross over the same finish line. We encourage you to soak up the atmosphere along the way, enjoy your journey, and celebrate your achievement.

Last year was amazing!
Last year's Great Bristol Run was very special and one we won't be forgetting any time soon. There was an incredible event day atmosphere, a course packed with iconic sights, new music zones, and most importantly... Thousands of runners who took to the streets of Bristol for their 10k or half marathon challenge.
The AJ Bell Great North Run ballot is now open!
If you'd like the chance to take your place on the world-famous half marathon start line this September, make sure you enter the ballot any time between now and 10am on Monday 20 February.
Once the ballot is closed the draw will begin, and by Friday 24 February you will receive an email confirming whether you are successful or not.
This year's AJ Bell Great North Run takes place on Sunday 10 September - so tell your friends, tell your family - now's the time to get your name in the ballot!
