An incredible night full of comedy, music and food!
On Friday 5 February 2016 join your ‘hosts’ Fanny and Johnnie Cradock at the great Folk House Cafe in Bristol for an epic show of comedy, music and a 3 course dinner, with a drink on arrival. A supremely entertaining and tasty evening, this is one not to be missed.
Kate McNab (Fanny) and John Telfer (Johnnie) star in this incredible night full of comedy and music. Channelling the full spirit of the iconic TV cook, Kate adopts the persona perfectly and delivers a performance to be marvelled at. Ably assisted by John Telfer, the evening has gained rave reviews and rightly so. Luckily, the food is cooked by some great chefs, rather than the performers themselves so you’re assured of a superb meal!
Here's the menu that will be on offer:
Potted shrimps, brown bread toast
or
Avocado, grapefruit, pickled fennel, smokey pecan nuts, citrus-olive oil dressing
Roast chicken with morels, Bristol Cream, pommes purées, winter vegetables
or
Pearl barley, wild mushrooms, winter vegetables, herb broth
Chocolate mousse, cream
or
Keenes Cheddar with Somerset apple
(If you have any dietary requirements then please let them, know when booking)
This event will be held from 7-11pm on Friday 5 February 2016 at The Folk House Cafe. Situated amongst the hustle and bustle of Park Street in Bristol, The Folk House Café and Bar is a little slice of heaven for weary shoppers, workers and Folk House students alike. Taking its name from the famous adult education centre it shares a home with, The Folk House Café and Bar is proud to stand alone in a world dominated by chains. Proudly sourcing the very best in local food, much of it organic, and combining it to create wonderful dishes is what they live for and what they stand for… Good food, ethically produced, expertly prepared and sold at a great price. Seems so simple doesn’t it!
If you’re unable to make it to this performance then fear not! There will be another evening held on Saturday 13 February aboard the MV Balmoral, moored outside M Shed in Bristol Harbourside, and will be equally as fun and entertaining!
In order to truly honour the true spirit of Fanny Cradock, 70s dress is welcomed though by no means a requirement!
