Even before Shakespeare declared music to be the food of love, there was a well-documented link between aural and gustatory stimulation, and the magical results when the two are combined. The Nook, the Commercial Road gastro-bar, are well aware of this and as such present Eat To The Beat, where good food meets good music in a special symbioses.
Beginning on Friday evening (25th November), when Simon Lloyd takes to the decks, diners will have their ears caressed by him and Saturday's equivalent Tristan Bolitho. Both DJs will play from 8.30pm until close.
Their new winter menu will be on proud display, as will the bar's extensive range of fabulous cocktails.
