Citizen bring the Halcyon Blues UK Tour to Prospect Building in Bristol
Citizen play Prospect Building in Bristol on Thursday 29th October 2026 as part of the Halcyon Blues UK Tour, with Bristol the last UK date listed on the run.
Halcyon Blues is the band's sixth album and came out on 7 August 2026 on Run For Cover Records. It follows 2023's Calling the Dogs, which was released on 6 October 2023 and features touring members Ben Russin on drums and Mason Mercer on guitar.
Singer Mat Kerekes recorded Halcyon Blues, and Tom Lord-Alge mixed it. The lead single was 'Highs and Lows', with a video directed by Josh Pfaff, and reviewers describe the album as drawing on several eras of the band's sound at once.
Citizen formed in 2009, and the core trio is Mat Kerekes on vocals, Nick Hamm on guitar and Eric Hamm on bass. They signed to Run For Cover Records in early 2012 and debuted with the album Youth in 2013, and their later albums include Everybody Is Going to Heaven and Life in Your Glass World.
The Bristol show is in the Crane room at Prospect Building, with Modern Colour and Thistle in support.
