Canadian indie with a bit of post punk influence

Free gigs continue at The Lanes in Bristol with Canadian indie band Choses Sauvages on Monday 2nd June 2025 - first 150 tickets are free!

Choses Sauvages are Montréal band who sing in their native French-Canadian tongue, but that hasn't stopped them from gaining positive press from English outlets however, with CLASH saying 'These guys are a huge deal,' and Wonderland branding them 'Really good fun'!

Their latest album released earlier this year, entitled Choses Sauvages III, is a 30-minute breakneck ride through post-punk and classic new wave with a hint of dance thrown in - think if Talking Heads meshed with Metronomy.

Their live shows are something of legend in Canada, playing a memorable gig whether the room is heaving or if it's only five people and a dog. Their attitude to giving their all each time has won them a loyal fanbase and loads of homeland acclaim, and we're really excited to be working with them for their debut headline UK tour!

Support comes from Tungz - Once likened to four brothers, Bristol UK based Tungz are a tight-knit group delivering an intoxicating blend of 70s synths, disco grooves and friendship. Emerging from their basement home-studio Tungz are clearing the way for a new era of funk-inspired bedroom pop.

Choses Sauvages' Bristol gig will be a free entry show at The Lanes on Monday 2nd June.
