Bristol City will be hoping their ex-Burnley trio of Luke McNally, Nakhi Wells and Scott Twine can help fell The Clarets as the newly relegated club, managed by Scott Parker, make the trip to BS3.
City and Burnley last locked horns in the 2022/2023 season with The Robins losing both games as The Clarets clinched promotion back to the Premier League under Vincent Kompany. The first clash was at Turf Moor with Manuel Benson and Jay Rodriguez scoring either side of a Wells strike to seal the victory with the home fixture also ending 2-1, with the same scorers for Burnley but Tommy Conway on the score sheet for City.
