The team at Bristol Academy of Drama is delighted to announce Creating Theatre with Little Performers, an interactive class for infant school children. One of a number of Summer workshops taking place this year, Creating Theatre is a two-day event for kids aged 4-6. Creating Theatre gives your little ones the opportunity to take an exciting and creative journey into the world of drama and performance by exploring and sharing a short performance piece, based on the playful world of the popular Cat in the Hat musical, Seussical.
Over the course of two days, the group will explore the world of the play by developing characters, creating soundscapes, forming scenes and telling stories in order to build their creation up to a complete performance which will be shown to parents at the end of the workshop. The experience will open the group's eyes to the world of drama and performance, and hopefully, provide the building blocks to kickstart a love of the arts!
