Bristol’s long-established Real Ale and metal pub, The Gryphon, is holding its annual MetAle festival next month. Here’s what you need to know.
Between 5th and 8th September, the Colston Street pub will welcome no less than 12 cask ales, five key beers and a collection of dark bottled and canned beers for its annual ale celebration. This year, the festival celebrates its 18th year.
As with the pub’s well-known musical stance, expect to find the darker side of ales stocked at this festival. Stouts and Porters, anyone?
