With a career of more than 20 years, the magnificent Afro Celt Sound System has finalized the dates for their show in Bristol and will perform at Colston Hall here on Friday 28 October 2016.

It happened when around 2 decades back, Simon Emmerson alongwith a group of other musicians from Africa and UK came performed together at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios. PopMatters described their work as “trail-blazing” while according to BBC music it is “an irresistible blend of rhythms and lilting spirituality aimed equally at the head, heart and feet”. The group has fantastically blended Celtic and African music and now they are promoting their new album The Source. This is how Folk Radio described their live shows: “I can guarantee it’s a unique and unmissable spectacle”.
