An award-winning real ale house tucked away on a cobbled street under the shadow of St Thomas the Martyr Church

The Seven Stars is one of Bristol’s oldest and most characterful pubs and dates back to the late 1500s (in fact, the pavement still has iron edges to prevent damage by heavy cart-wheeled carriages), this much-loved boozer remains largely unchanged from its origins in a city now packed with an ever-changing sea of trendy bars and clubs.

Boasting a fantastic selection of over 30 different cask ales each week - as well as traditional “West Country” ciders and perries - The Seven Stars is a fiercely independent pub with a spirit to match. With live music events taking place every Saturday night and acoustic sessions every first and third Sunday of the month between 3 PM and 6 PM.

The pub is a popular destination for disciples of Bristol's burgeoning live music scene and is handily located next door to legendary music venue, The Fleece as well as just a stone's throw from the historic Old City. A CAMRA award-winning watering hole, it was even featured on both Michael Portillo’s Great British Railway Journeys and the Hairy Bikers series Pubs That Built Britain in 2016.
