The Lazy Dog is a community pub serving high quality food and drink, with a fantastic menu of world-food small plates with some updated pub classics for the larger appetite and a cracking Sunday roast to round off your week.
Drinks-wise, The Lazy Dog's emphasis is on quality and range, with everything from real ales to cocktails available. They focus on the best Bristol has to offer, sourcing the vast majority of their beers from the vast array of excellent breweries in Bristol, through to locally made spirits and syrups.
The design of the pub itself is inspired by the classic gin palace-style boozers of days gone by. In a time when good old-fashioned pubs are few and far between this one has been built to last! The upstairs bar is a nice area to relax away from the hustle and bustle, where they host a weekly stand up comedy night on Tuesdays and a film club on the first Wednesday of every month. The room is also available to hire out for parties.
Last but not least, The Lazy Dog also have a large, walled beer garden to the rear with heaters over some of the tables. A large portion of the garden is covered during the winter months, but during the summer the garden comes into its own and is the place to be to soak up the rays and have a beer and a bite with friends.
