Dating back to 1760, The Lamplighters in Bristol has a rich and storied history that positively radiates from its walls. Its more recent history saw it go through a superb renovation and is now open once more, serving up glorious, traditional pub fayre next to great ales and fine wines.

Situated in a stunning location on the River Avon, The Lamplighters lies just along The Portway from the city, enjoying stunning views across the river to Pill. It is simply the perfect location to enjoy their great, seasonal food and selection of cask ales and wines. A true Free House, they don’t have to pander to any breweries and are able to stock and serve what they like.

Offering a selection of pub favourites such as the famous Lamplighters Pies, Pan Fried Salmon or Lamb & Feta Burgers, they keep it seasonal and locally source as much of the produce as possible. There’s also a lunchtime selection available Monday to Saturday including Pulled Beef Sandwich, the fantastic Lamplighters Fish Finger Sandwich, Jacket Potatoes with a selection of yummy fillings or classics such as the rather generously portioned Ham, Egg & Chips. Every Sunday they offer a wonderful roast, serving either beef, chicken or pork. Kicking off at 12pm, they serve until they run out, though they do aim to hit 6pm!
