An independent music and community arts space in BS2

Located on Little Ann Street in BS2, The Jam Jar is a volunteer-led community arts space dedicated to delivering unforgettable, intimate live shows to Bristol audiences. Having transformed a derelict warehouse unit into a vibrant creative space, the team are now able to host a wide range of artistic showcases, from live music and spoken word to theatrical work, comedy and much more.

Opened back in 2014, the venue is home to several creative studio spaces, including purpose-built music production studios, multi-use practice and rehearsal rooms, shared and private studios, a roof terrace and a performance area.

Over the years The Jam Jar has nurtured the development of a substantial network of creative people who rely on the space to produce their work. Artists from all walks of life have used the space to hone their crafts, producing an incredibly diverse collection of work and celebrating the talent and drive of the local community.

Historically, The Jam Jar is best known for its weekend shows, and the team are proud to have hosted artists from all over the world, while also providing a platform for up-and-coming local acts. The venue's sole purpose is to support and promote grassroots and culture, and in a short time it has become a real pillar of Bristol's independent arts scene.
