Legendary live music venue in central Bristol

The Fleece is one of Bristol’s longest-running music venues, and it’s got the legend status to prove it.

The venue gets its name from the building itself, a former Victorian wool hall with a flagstone floor. In years gone by, The Fleece has seen some of the world’s biggest artists to perform in its 450-capacity gig space; fromRadiohead to Oasis, from Amy Winehouse to Queens of The Stone Age.

It’s a Bristol music institution, and has fought off several threats of closure due to new developments and rising business rates. Whatever happens, The Fleece is here to stay.
