The Beehive has been a much-loved Bristol institution for over 150 years now, serving the good people of North Bristol and beyond with the very best beverages.
Current owners Dawn and Rufus Roberts and Paul James took over the reins back in September 2014, overseeing a dramatic redevelopment of the pub in early 2018 which has seen the historic building transformed into a fantastic spot for socialising, dining and relaxing within a great family-friendly environment.
Expect good old-fashioned hospitality in a modern setting. The pub has been opened up into a large space divided into areas (which can be hired for specific events) where you can relax with a glass of wine, enjoy a pint with friends, gorge yourself on an offering from the carefully curated menu or tuck into a coffee and cake. Due to the pub's close proximity to Canford Crematorium, The Beehive specialise in hosting wakes and events to remember the lives of loved ones who have recently passed away, taking care of everything in accordance with family wishes and ensuring that all goes smoothly on the day.
Well stocked with beers, wines and spirits, The Beehive is also a great location for a quick lunch, bar snack as well as a drink with friends. Selected sports events are shown on a large-screen TV and the pub put on a range of special events and theme nights throughout the year.
If that's not enough, a 'Secret Garden and Courtyard' is located to the rear of the pub. Long regarded as the largest in Bristol, even today it is set out on three attractive landscaped levels. The Courtyard is the perfect place for a morning coffee or afternoon tea whilst an outdoor bar and barbecue make the garden the perfect location for golden hour.
