A family run business producing Traditional Farmhouse Cider and Apple Juice
Established in 1954, this long-standing Somerset cider farm has grown and evolved since Gordon Rich first began pressing apples at Mill Farm, yet its production methods remain rooted in traditional craftsmanship. Still family-run, the farm produces authentic farmhouse cider and farm-pressed apple juice using locally harvested Somerset apples. Visitors can explore a working farm, sample a wide range of ciders before purchasing, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere that has defined the Rich’s legacy for generations.

The onsite restaurant, seating up to seventy guests, offers fresh, home-cooked meals made with locally sourced ingredients, and caters thoughtfully to vegetarians and those with food allergies. With a 4.3-star rating on TripAdvisor, it has become a favourite stop for both locals and travellers. The entire site is disability-friendly - an achievement recognised by an award from Sedgemoor County Council - ensuring that the shop, restaurant, and facilities are accessible to all.

Guided tours run on Wednesdays during school holidays, giving visitors the chance to wander through the orchards, see the impressive oak vats in action, and enjoy a tasting led by knowledgeable guides. Whether watching apples being pressed in autumn, browsing the farm shop, or relaxing over a meal, guests will find something to enjoy year-round.
