Radical Roasters is a speciality, micro coffee roastery based in Bristol.
Owner of the Roasters, Cat, boasts mind-boggling credentials: Great Taste Award Coffee Judge, 2 X UK Barista Championship semi-finalists, fourth in UK Coffee Roasting Championships 2016, SCA UK Sensory Coffee Judge 2017-19 and Certified Q Grader (equivalent to wine Sommelier).
After years of roasting coffee for other people, Cat took the leap in Nov 2021 to start her own business. She started in a small shed with a 1kg and in Sep 2022, before opening a cafe roastery and purchasing a 5 kg Diedrich coffee roaster with the help of a council grant.
The roastery is based on St. Mark's Road in Easton and serves up coffee, cake and treats every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can also order coffee beans online for pickup at the weekend or simply pop by and use the packaging-free station.
Radical Roasters are stocked by such Bristol staples as Ahh Toots, Exchange, Wade & Labour, Pinkmans Bakery, Full Court Press and Bristol Loaf as well as various cafes further afield. Head to the roasters' website to browse all their coffees.
