Reopening in November 2023, Bristol Beacon is a music charity, renowned venue and award-winning music education hub

The once-in-a-generation transformation is complete. After five years, Bristol Beacon is open.

You’re invited to step inside and feel the music once more. Amazing acts for curious cats. Music sensations for every generation. For the movers and shakers, the music makers – the doors are open.

After five years and £132 million (the second-largest investment in England by the Arts Council this century), Bristol Beacon have completed their regeneration project, re-inventing the venue.

The Beacon has four distinct spaces: Beacon Hall, Lantern Hall, the Bridgehouse and the Weston Stage.

Beacon Hall is the heart of the venue - it's flagship stage, with a capacity of up to 2,000 and a packed programme of massive names and events constantly updating. Designed for the best possible acoustics, it's a truly showstopping venue.

Lantern Hall is Beacon Hall's little brother; a smaller space for more intimate gigs, cutting-edge artists, children's events or even weddings. With its beautiful Victorian ancestry, and dedicated, artist-designed bar, it's an elegant space that's worth checking out.

The Bridgehouse is the new name for the Bristol Beacon's shapeshifting entrance hall. More than just an entrance hall, the Bridgehouse can transform into a unique, relaxed stage space for special performances, conferences and events.

The Weston Stage is Beacon's brand new stage, a stylish, intimate cellar venue with an integrated bar space perfect for late-night performances - with an attached recording and studio space.

Details of upcoming events can be viewed through the 365Bristol events pages.

Parking is available in Trenchard Street Car Park located just behind the Colston Hall.
