Intimate and softly lit tapas restaurant on Cotham Hill
Bravas is unlike anything else in Bristol! With warm ambient lighting and an open kitchen so that customers can see, hear and smell their food being cooked. The kitchen is adjacent to and behind the bar with seating running the whole way along, giving people a front-row view of the action.
The team regularly visit Spain and immerse themselves in the fresh, unpretentious, inexpensive food in local tapas bars. This is where the idea for Bravas came from; helping customers to feel the welcoming atmosphere of a local pub but the quality of food you would expect in a great restaurant.
This is a sociable restaurant where people can relax and feel at home, whether they are dining alone, with a partner or with friends. The food we offer is tapas, with a menu that changes daily taking advantage of the fresh and seasonal products available, therefore using ingredients that are both at their best and good value.
Bristolian food lovers can gorge themselves on nibbles such as Marinated Gordal & Manzanilla olives, cured meats like Cecina de Leon - air-dried beef, seafood such as Salt grilled wild red prawn, garlic & chilli, meats like Chorizo cooked in cider, and cheeses including Picos de Europa blue, eucalyptus honey.
