Bristol Woof Walk is back for another event in October 2018!

Posted on: 26 Jun 2018

Bristol dog lovers, perk up your ears: the Bristol Woof Walk is back in 2018, with a special Halloween-themed event on the cards on Saturday 27th October. Be sure to tell all your friends - and their four-legged companions - that this year's event is set to be bigger than ever!

Previous Bristol Woof Walks have been hugely popular and raised over £3000 for charity.

If you're a dog person, the likelihood is that a day spent in the company of a few dozen canines is likely to be up there with the best days you'll have this year. The Bristol Woof Walk provides you with the opportunity to do just that, setting off from Jollyes Pet Superstore in Longwell Green and walking for a good distance through some of the city's beautiful green spots.

What's more, your involvement in the event will help out Guide Dogs UK, a charity that does essential work in training and providing guide dogs for the blind, elderly and partially sighted. Over the last two years Bristol Woof Walk events have raised over £3700 for the charity, having great fun at the same time!

As well as the walk, there will be a great range of activities, competitions and prizes on offer for those in attendance, for humans and their canine counterparts. Sponsor packs will be available soon so you can get started on your fundraising early.

For more information on this year's Bristol Woof Walk or to get involved, check out the event's Facebook listing, or contact the organiser Dan Whitton via Facebook.
