Get down to Cider Salon Bristol on Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd June 2018
Posted on: 22 Jun 2018If any beverage exemplifies the South West and Bristol, it's cider - and quaffers of this fine fermented apple drink can look forward to a two-day treat of talks, dinners and, of course, tastings throughout Cider Salon, which runs from Friday 22nd to Saturday 23rd June 2018.
Synonymous with cider and indeed the very capital of the drink, various venues across the city will see a plethora of exciting, cider-swigging events taking place that are guaranteed to whet your parched and willing whistle.
The main tasting shebang will happen on Saturday, with the run-up consisting of a whole raft of fringe events at independent venues such as brewery collaborations, cheese and cider pairing, and the art of keeving (the artisan method for making naturally sweet and well-coloured cider, fact fans).
Brought to you by the producers themselves - mainly from the South West but also ushering in a few special guests from further afield, including the USA - the full, cider-guzzling line-up will shape up like this:
