What's On at The Duck And Willow This SummerPosted on: 17 Jun 2018
The Duck And Willow is a well loved country pub which serves hearty British food and a wide selection of drinks from its cosy location in Downend.
The pub is owned by Amy Devenish and Tom Brownell - the duo who are also behind sister inn The Gloucester Old Spot. Once again they have pooled their masses of knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry to create the perfect family pub.
Local produce is key for The Duck - everything from their pork suppliers to the art that features on their walls comes from Bristol and the South West, meaning that the end result is a relaxed feel with quality food and drink.
June is an exciting month for them - not only are they busy creating a brand new food and drinks menu, but they are in the process of renovating their outside area to introduce an additional garden space as well as a children’s play area. New breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are on their way, giving you ample excuse to get out in the sunshine and enjoy some delicious seasonal tasters.
The pub is going to be closed on the 27th and 28th June, before reopening on the 29th to reveal their new look and menu. On the 30th, they are set to host a Summer Garden Party, complete with their all-new summer cocktails which can be sipped in the Bristol sunshine from their large and luxurious garden.
So whether it just be for a glass of wine, or to treat yourself to their exceptional Sunday lunch, get yourself to The Duck And Willow this Summer to check out all of their improvements.
