Loud protest singer/songwriter Josh Okeefe will be lighting up The Fleece this June, ahead of his anticipated new album release.

After gaining attention for his moving track ‘Grenfell Tower Fire,’ performing with the likes of Alison Krauss and appearing across various BBC Radio slots, Okeefe’s performance is expected to be compelling, reflective and plain unmissable.

With Huffington Post questioning whether Okeefe could be the next voice of the generation and No Depression comparing his voice to the power of a hurricane, it becomes clear why he has been making waves since moving from England to Nashville to pursue his music career.

As well dedicating his sound to that of protest and activism, Okeefe has also been campaigning in America and has performed at a gathering for Black Lives Matter in Tennessee, adding yet another hard-hitting chapter to his autobiographical songbook.

Okeefe will be kicking off U.K. tour in early June, supporting Lindi Ortega's performance. Get your tickets for his Bristol date now!

Tickets are £14 - get them here. The Fleece is located at 12 St Thomas St, Bristol BS1 6JJ.
