Acclaimed UK singer-songwriter Laurel set to perform live at The Lanes on Saturday 29th September 2018

The London-based singer-songwriter and producer has announced a 12-date UK tour for September and October 2018, coinciding with the upcoming release of her debut album, Dogviolet. The tour includes a stop off in Bristol, as Laurel is scheduled to perform live at The Lanes on Saturday 29th September.

Laurel will perform live at The Lanes on Saturday 19th September 2018.

Rising star Laurel, born in Southampton but now based in London, is eagerly awaiting the release of her first studio album, set to hit the shelves on 24th August. Recorded without glossing over the imperfections and driven by her personal lyrics and stirring melodies, every track on the album was written and recorded in Laurel’s home studio in East London. It was then taken to Gizzard Studios to be fed back through a reel-to-reel tape recorder, re-capturing the organic tone that is prevalent within her breathtaking live shows.

Speaking about the album, Laurel says "I wrote these songs at home often locking myself away for periods of time in order to capture the true mania that comes from love; although a beautiful feeling, it can often feel a lot uglier." As well as the Bristol show at The Lanes, her tour will also see her perform in Manchester, Birmingham, London, Leeds and more.

Laurel has already received glowing reviews and support from the likes of Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq, Spotify, Apple Music and The Guardian, and she has secured partnerships with Burberry, Levi's, Vans and more. 'Dogviolet' follows her acclaimed 'Park' EP and the captivating Spotify Live EP, both released in 2017.

Tickets for Laurel live at The Lanes go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 15th May. For more information or to follow ticket updates, head to Laurel's official website or check out her Facebook page.
