Spike Island and the Cumberland Basin will be the next destinations on your jogging journey before passing the majestic, Gothic glory of St Mary Redcliffe and finishing back where you started on Anchor Road.

A wonderful way to join in one of the top keep fit running events of the year (and, naturally, take advantage of all the superb bars and restaurants dotted along the Harbourside afterwards), the event is suitable for people aged 15 years and over.

Entry is £30 per person and you can get training and preparation advice, other events info and reserve your place online here.

The Simplyhealth Great Bristol 10K starts on Anchor Road, Millennium Square, Bristol, BS1 5DB and there will be road restrictions in place until approximately 3pm so avoid driving in the direction of Harbourside, Hotwells Road and The Portway!
