Story Slam at The Wardrobe Theatre on Sunday 21st January 2018Posted on: 09 Jan 2018
The ever-popular Story Slam, hosted by The Wardrobe Theatre, is back for what is sure to be a tale-tellingly triumphant return on Sunday 21st January 2018.
Volunteers from the audience will get their name plucked out of hat for the chance to recount their incredible true stories to the rest of the crowd. Of course, you don't have to partake in regaling your veracious yarns as you're more than welcome to take your seat and just listen to everyone else's recitals.
Held on the third Sunday of every month, the doors are thrown open at 1.30pm for a 2pm start. And, as usual, there will be plenty of food, drink, goodies and the obligatory group photo. Stories this time will also be accompanied by the addition of background live music.
Story Slam is a 'pay what you want' event, with a suggested donation of £4.
And if you miss out on this one, there are plenty of other Story Slams taking place over the next few months on 18th February, 18th March, 15th April, 20th May, 17th June, and 15th July.

He loves the music of Philip Glass, the art of Salvador Dali, the writings of Charles Bukowksi and Hunter S Thompson, the irreverence of Harry Hill, and the timeless, straw-chomping exuberance of The Wurzels. You can sometimes find him railing against a surging tide of passing cyclists, or gorging himself senseless on the Oriental delights of a Cosmos all-you-can-eat buffet.
