The Bristol Men's Walk at Somerdale Pavilion on Saturday 10 February 2018

Posted on: 06 Jan 2018

Not that us blokes need much of an excuse for a pie and a pint, but now we can enjoy those two indulgent pleasures whilst simultaneously raising money for charity when The Bristol Men's Walk triumphantly returns on Saturday 10 February 2018.

Organised by the marvellous St Peter's Hospice, the event is a sponsored six-mile walk that starts from the Somerdale Pavilion in Keynsham (formerly Cadbury's) and takes you through woodland, along the River Avon path via beautiful Somerset countryside before finally returning to the enticing, pleasant welcome of a pint and hot pie from 3pm.

What's more, you can chomp and quaff in time for the RBS Six Nations rugby match between England and Wales from 4.45pm which will be showing on the venue's screens.

As it's a fundraising event for a good cause, participating walkers will be expected to raise sponsorship or make a personal donation in lie of sponsorship, with a suggested minimum adult contribution of £50 and under 18s of £25. Adult entry is £18, under 18s £12.

Back by popular demand, you can find out more about this perfect Saturday arvo combo and reserve your place through the event's Facebook page.

Somerdale Pavilion is located at Tiberius Road, Bristol, BS31 2FF
