Jon Udry ABC Tour - J is for Jail at The Island on Thursday 11 January 2018

Posted on: 03 Jan 2018

Juggler and comedian Jon Udry has set himself a challenge - 26 shows in 26 different venues - and he's bringing his quirky brand of inimitable juggling hi-jinks to The Island in Bristol on Thursday 11 January 2018.

Jon Udry will be in Bristol on 11th January 2018

Forming a small part of his much wider, 26-venue sprawling comedy/juggling travelling extravaganza, the venue will host Udry on the part of his tour that falls on the letter J - in this case, J for Jail (cell).

Always one to set himself up for flamboyant and grandiose challenges, Udry is a charming blend of directness, humour and engaging showmanship that will have you alternating between crafty, clever edge-of-the-seat tomfoolery and rib-tickling shenanigans.

Utterly unique and fabulously entertaining, Udry won the British Young Juggler of the Year accolade and has since made numerous appearances on television and radio as well as bestowing his own particular style of juggling and stand-up all over the globe.

This offbeat evening runs from 7pm to 8pm. You can keep up-to-speed with his tour on the event's Facebook page and get your hands on tickets - which cost £4 - here.

Housed in the Old Bridewell Police Station, The Island offers galleries, art space and workshops for the exciting and talented amalgam of city-wide creatives.  You can find out more about the venue at www.theislandbristol.com.

The Island is located at Nelson Street, Bristol, BS1 2LE.  Tel. 07766 058835.
