Batik Course at Badminton School in Bristol next January
Posted on: 11 Dec 2017Join Bristol-based Badminton School for three morning beginners workshop sessions for adults in their Textiles Studio. You’ll be working with Batik to produce beautiful silk designs.
The Textiles course will run from 9.00-10.30am Wednesday 17th, 24th and 31st January and costs £30 for three sessions. Refreshments and materials are included. Ten spaces are available on a first come first serve basis so act quickly to secure a spot!
Batik is a method of decorating fabric, such as silk or cotton with coloured dyes. Molten wax is used to create a multi-coloured effect. The workshop is a chance to create stunning and unique designs on pure silk material. Learn about the different techniques used and how to master the art for yourself!
