EXCLUSIVE Aardman reveal characters in the 2018 Bristol arts trail
Posted on: 16 Nov 2017Our fellow neighbours, Aardman Animations are the pride and joy of Bristol. Revered worldwide for their famous animated characters. Most know the studio as the creators of Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Morph, Chicken Run and more. Following the success of the previous 2 arts trails; Gromit Unleashed and Shaun in the City, Aardman have created yet another very special arts trail in aid of The Grand Appeal which features giant sculptures over the city’s various locations.
Here at 365, we were invited to the exclusive unveiling of the characters in next year’s arts trail. Take a look at who we discovered earlier in the studios today…

Gromit will be returning alongside pal Wallace and arch nemesis Feathers McGraw.

The criminal mastermind penguin is on the loose again and the dynamic duo is out to track him down! Gromit is raring to go, but Wallace can’t resist having a nice sit down to soak up the scenery, and enjoy a lovely cup of tea at every opportunity.
2018 will mark 5 years since the first Gromit Unleashed arts trail and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

The public art trail featuring the giant sculptures of Wallace, Grommit and Feathers McGraw will return to Bristol on Monday 2nd July until Sunday September 2nd 2018 and will raise money for Bristol Children’s Hospital and the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael’s Hospital as part of The Grand Appeal which is the city’s leading award-winning Children’s Hospital Charity.
They have raised over £50million to save Childrens lives since 1995.
This is set to be the most innovative sculpture trail yet. With the help of Bristol’s leading institutions and engineering firms, it will span over many wonderful locations around the city.
All of us here at Aardman Studios are eagerly anticipating the arrivals of Wallace, Gromit and the dreaded Feathers McGraw!
