American Rock band Extreme are returning to the UK with a tour which stops off at the O2 Academy in Bristol on the 18th of December and tickets are selling fast to old and new fans of this group.

This grammy-nominated act, headed by frontment Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt, will be playing their hits including 'More Than Words' and they'll be supported by US funk rockers Dan Reed Network.

Extreme

They reached the height of their fame in the late 1980s and the early 1990s and have many die-hard fans all over the world; they have sold over 100 millon albums worldwide. They had their greatest success with their 1990 album called Pornograffitti, which peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200, and was certified gold in May 1991 and double platinum in October 1992. This was the album that featured the acoustic ballad single 'More Than Words', which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
