STEP INTO AN ALTERNATE REALITY!

Exhilarating Virtual Reality experience to launch in Bristol

AirHop Bristol, Europe’s leading trampoline park, will be bringing a fully immersive, adrenaline-pumping gaming experience to the South West, with the launch of six Virtual Reality booths. The installation marks the first major Virtual Reality experience of its kind in the city, and opens to the public on Friday 20 October.

Suitable for children over six, and big kids too, new worlds await players, who will be able to delve into alternate realities to create, battle and explore in fully immersive games. From fixing a robot to defending a castle with The Lab, blocking the beat to feel with music with Audioshield, or becoming Serious Sam and battling in outer space, there are endless exhilarating adventures to discover.

AirHop Bristol

Each booth features its own live feed, so you can watch and cheer on friends and family in real time, or if you’re a more competitive gamer, challenge your opponent on the multiplayer games and let the fun begin!

AirHop has already established itself as a unique venue for families, friends and businesses to enjoy a fun-fuelled day out. From over 160 interconnected trampolines and a foam pit to test your aerial tricks, to trampoline dodgeball and its very own Wipeout arena, the addition of the AirVR booths will ensure that your day out is one you’ll never forget!

Darren Hedges, Co-founder of AirHop commented: “We’re so excited to bring the latest virtual reality technology to AirHop Bristol, the first of its kind in the South West. The games on offer cater to all ages and abilities – from gaming novices to experts who are up for a challenge. We know how popular this will be with families, groups and gaming fans that visit us - we encourage you not to miss out!”

AirVR was created and installed by e-aktive, with future plans to roll out the gaming booths across more AirHop locations in Europe. Virtual Reality has become an increasingly popular form of gaming in recent years, with some analysts forecasting sales of VR will overtake PC by 2025.
