Usher in the imminent arrival of autumn with a magical mix of storytelling, live music and acrobatics in Leigh Woods on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th September 2017.

The Boy Who Grew Wings is an exhilarating blend of creative, artistic and performance disciplines being put on by outdoor theatrical group Whispering Woods and has all the hallmarks of being one of the most imaginative and awe-inspiring events of the year.

Ostensibly a tale about finding your place in the world - all expressed through characters of part bird, part human hybrid - the transcendent, beautiful hues of the autumn months will be matched by this breathtaking, numinous performance amongst the trees of the enchanting Leigh Woods Nature Reserve.

There will be two performances on both days from 6pm-7pm and 8pm-9pm. This beguiling spectacle costs £10 for adults, £5 for children, and under 4s get in free. It's also advisable to slip on some warm attire and take a torch.
